Ekaterina co-founded Healthy Choice Massage Therapy Clinic with her husband, Guevorg Khachaturov.
In addition to her clinical practice, Ekaterina is working on expanding the Healthy Choice team and services to include nursing services, smoking cessation, nutrition, health coaching, psychotherapy, and other multidisciplinary services.
Professional Achievements
Ekaterina Khachaturova is a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. She graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009.
Ekaterina has been working in a rehabilitation setting since 2010. Her knowledge in Cardiac Rehabilitation comes from over ten years of experience at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, the Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation Department. She expanded her rehabilitation specialization in working with clients with motor vehicle injuries and chronic pain at the Revival Rehabilitation Centre since 2016.
Ekaterina has provided patients with Case Management and Chronic Pain Management Education since 2018 and has been a Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) provider since 2019. She has also trained for PRP (platelet-rich plasma) procedures for hair growth since 2022.
Ekaterina has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of post-cardiac patients, MVA clients, providing case management, attendant care assessments, and mental health support; counselling and teaching health topics in outpatient settings: Prevention and Rehabilitation, Lipid profile, Nutrition, Exercise, Stress Management, Depression, Anxiety, Pain Management, and Physical Activity with chronic conditions.
Ekaterina has a lifelong passion for helping others, and she is willing to go above and beyond to ensure that her clients receive the best possible care and results.
